The famous corn wine in the Dong Van stone plateau is made by the Mong people using corn kernels and brewed for 30 days with 72 types of forest leaves called Leaves yeast (men lá). Then distilled using a wood stove and wooden pot. The wine produced has the aroma of leaves in the forest and the sweetness of corn has become a specialty drink for families during Ha Giang festivals.
