We really enjoyed our stay at the Historic House. It was a very clean, upscale vibe but still gave the authenticity you're looking for that hotel's just can't provide. The gardens were beautiful and the restaurant is so cool!! We went during low season so were the only ones there, but would love to return in the summer. Also the host has a million dollar smile that still left an impression on us! She helped us book great busses and we were able to rent motorbikes.
